Privacy policy

ReceiptRoast is operated by Prediturk LLC, 9407 NE Vancouver Mall Dr Ste 104 #544, Vancouver, WA 98662 (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use ReceiptRoast and why. The short version: we keep the minimum needed to roast your receipts, we don’t sell data, and we don’t use advertising trackers.

What we collect

• Receipt photos. When you scan a receipt, the photo is sent to our AI provider to be read. We do not store the photo; it is discarded once the request finishes.
• Receipt results. We store the text we extract (store name, date, items, prices, categories) together with the roast and swaps, so you can see your results and history.
• Account details. If you create an account: your email address and a securely hashed password. You can use the free scans without an account.
• Payment status. Payments are handled by our payments provider and Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we only learn whether your account has an active Pro subscription.
• Usage counts. To enforce the free allowance and prevent abuse we store a random visitor id and a one-way hash of your IP address alongside your scans.

Cookies

We only use functional, first-party cookies:

• rr_vid: a random id that counts your free scans (1 year).
• rr_session: keeps you signed in (60 days), only if you have an account.
• partner_ref: remembers which partner referred you, if you arrived through a partner link (up to 90 days).
• A cookie set by our payments provider so purchases and subscriptions work.

Our analytics are cookie-free and aggregate: we count page views and feature usage (such as “a receipt was roasted”) without advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking.

Who processes data for us

• Our hosting and AI platform (Viski), which runs the app, reads receipt images via AI models and sends our emails.
• Stripe, for payments.
• Our partner program provider (BestResult Partners), only if you arrived through a partner link or used a partner code, to credit the partner.

How long we keep it

Receipt results and account data are kept until you delete them or your account. Anonymous scans not linked to an account are deleted after 12 months.

Your rights

You can delete individual roasts from your dashboard at any time. To access, export or delete all your data, or to close your account, email info@prediturk.com. We respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU, UK or California) you may have additional rights, including to object or complain to a regulator.

Children

ReceiptRoast is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell account holders by email.
